Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is one of the country’s largest universities named after the nation’s eastern philosopher and scholar AL-FARABI, established in 1934 in order to provide the basic and master knowledge of medical sciences to students. The university is also called KAZNU. KAZNU is the oldest classical university of the Republic established by a Decree of the Kazakh Regional Committee (KRC) office dated November 13, 1933. One year after Kazakhstan's 1990 declaration of independence, the name was changed to Al-Farabi Kazakh State University. The Admission process of FOREIGN CITIZENS to English-language educational programs of higher education (2023-2024 academic year) I.
1. For admission to KAZNU, foreign citizens need to apply to Companies cooperating with the university. The list of the Companies and their contacts are posted on the university website
2. Foreign citizens, through representatives of the Companies, submit the following documents to the admission committee of KAZNU from June 14 to September 7, 2023:-
a) Application for documents acceptance 2) copy of passport. The validity of the national passport must be at least 2 years from the date of entry into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. If you don't have a passport, a copy of your ID is provided. Please note that at the time of enrollment to the university (after successfully passing the interview) you will be required to present a passport.
b). copy of the document on education with the transcript. The original document of education must be apostil, that is, have a stamp certifying the authenticity of the signature of the person who signed the document and confirming the authority of this person, as well as the authenticity of the seal or stamp that this document is sealed with;
c) Copy of certificate of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for citizens of the Republic of India.
d) International certificate confirming English language proficiency (if available). All documents must be in PDF format, excellent quality. An incomplete package of documents is not considered by the admissions committee. If necessary, the admission committee has the right to request additional documents.
3. After checking the documents, the admission committee sends a letter to the applicant stating that he is allowed to interview, including in an online format. The letter is an electronic document of KAZNU, which can be checked by the applicant through the portal https://kaznmu.isirius.kz/ by entering the "Unique Code" specified in the letter.
1. Admission of foreign citizens for training is carried out based on the results of the interview. During the interview, the applicant must demonstrate general education, life experience, their beliefs and achievements, life position and worldview.
2. The interview period is June 30 - September 8, 2023. The schedule of the interview is posted on the website of the university, and is also given to the Companies. Please keep up to actual information on our website!
3. The admission of an applicant for an interview is carried out upon presentation of an identity document.
4. The minimum interview score is 60 points out of 100 points. Sample interview topics: - How do you imagine the medicine of the future? - What does it take to become a good doctor? - What influenced your choice of profession in your life? - Your position and outlook on human life, death, illness.
1. After the interview, a competitive selection is carried out in accordance with the admission plan
2. The selection committee notifies the representatives of the Companies about the results of the selection on the day of its holding.
The order on the admission of foreign citizens to the number of students of KAZNU is issued on the basis of the results of the selection and submission to the admission committee by representatives of the Companies of the original documents. List of documents for enrollment-

2) Questionnaire;
3) Passport (returned after verification), a copy of the passport with a notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian. The validity of the national passport must be at least 2 years from the date of entry into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan
4) Document on education (original) with attachment/transcript (original). Education document (original) must be apostil
5) Notarized translations of the passport, education document, and application/transcript into Kazakh or Russian. Certification of translations is carried out by a notary in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan or by the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the country in which the document was issued;
6) National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) certificate for citizens of the Republic of India;
7) International certificate confirming knowledge of the English language (if any).
8) 6 photographs 3×4 (color, for a period not exceeding six months);
9) Medical certificate in the form 075/y after passing the medical commission in the Republic of Kazakhstan. 2. The invitation and visa are issued by the department for work with foreign students of the University after the signing of the enrollment order
